Background The Defense Health Agency Contracting Activity (DHACA) is issuing this Request for Information (RFI)/Sources Sought (SS) to gather industry feedback regarding the procurement of aerosol photometer equipment. The US Army Medical Research Institute of Infectious Disease (USAMRIID) requires this equipment to ensure compliance with regulatory standards set by the Centers for Disease Control (CDC) for HEPA filter certifications in biosafety laboratories. Work Details The Facility Management Office at USAMRIID has a requirement to procure two (2) 2i Aerosol Photometers from Air Techniques International (ATI) or equivalent, including probes and cases. These photometers are essential for performing HEPA filter certifications as mandated by the Biosafety in Microbiological and Biomedical Laboratories (BMBL). The equipment will be used to certify HEPA filters installed in supply and exhaust filter housings, ensuring proper air filtration in BSL3 and BSL4 laboratory spaces. Place of Performance The contract will be performed at Fort Detrick, Frederick, MD.
