Generator Installation, Maintenance, and Repairs

Background

The State of Rhode Island is issuing this solicitation for the MPA 550 Generator Installation, Maintenance, and Repairs contract. The purpose of this contract is to provide emergency generator maintenance and repairs, which includes inspection, preventative maintenance services, repair and replacement, and emergency services as needed for generators and related equipment. This solicitation represents an extension of the open enrollment period for vendors already on the current MPA 550 contract, which will remain valid through December 2026. The overall contract is set to expire on August 31, 2027.

Work Details

The contractor will be responsible for the following services: - Inspection of emergency generators - Preventative maintenance services - Repair and replacement of parts as necessary - Emergency services for generators and related equipment as needed. The solicitation includes a Master Price Agreement (MPA) which allows for statewide applicability and participation from various political subdivisions.

Period of Performance

The contract will commence on July 07, 2025, and will end on December 31, 2026.

Place of Performance

Services will be performed throughout the State of Rhode Island.

Bidder Requirements

Vendors must register in Ocean State Procures to submit responses. They must maintain all required licenses and insurance during the contract term. Vendors are also required to comply with all applicable laws and regulations. Additionally, vendors must not be listed on any debarment lists or have any conflicts of interest.
