The goal of this contract is to ensure the upkeep of the college's landscaping throughout the growing season, enhancing the overall appearance and functionality of the college grounds. Work Details The contractor shall provide all necessary equipment, materials, and labor for landscape maintenance services including: - **Spring Clean-up (April 15 - May 1)**: Blow out Xeriscaping areas, clean beds, mow turf grass areas, remove debris from various areas, and trim ornamental grasses. - **Lawn Maintenance (May 1 - October 31)**: Weekly lawn cutting, trimming around trees and shrubs, bi-weekly lawn edging. - **Weed Control (May 1 - September 30)**: Hand-pulling weeds from planting beds and bioswales bi-weekly. - **Fall Clean-up (2nd week in November – December 7)**: Bagging lawn areas, cleaning debris from beds, and trimming perennials. - **Shrub Trimming**: Minimum of two prunings per season. - **Xeriscaping Maintenance**: Edging and mowing native prairie areas bi-weekly. - **Hard Surface Weed Control**: Monthly chemical treatment of weeds in parking lots and access roads.
