There are 22 mechanical gates listed on the technical exhibit in the PWS. If we look at every gate it should take approximately 4 hours including driving time. Summary: Background The Mission and Installation Contracting Command (MICC) at Fort Bragg, NC, is issuing a Blanket Purchase Agreement (BPA) for maintenance services and repairs for mechanical gates. This requirement is driven by the Directorate of Plans, Training, Mobilization and Security (DPTMS) to ensure the operational readiness of mechanical gates at various locations within Fort Bragg. The BPA aims to establish a reliable service provider to maintain these critical access points. Work Details The contractor will provide non-personal services for maintenance, repair, and replacement of mechanical gates as per the Performance Work Statement (PWS) and Technical Exhibit #2. Services include: 1. Preventative Maintenance Service to access pedestal and gate motor, retracting chain, belt or gate rollers. This includes reprogramming, seal replacements, troubleshooting, lubrication of components, tension adjustments, roller adjustments, sensor adjustments, and necessary calibrations to return units to manufacturer's specifications. 2. Repair services for access pedestal and gate components including wire repair/replacement, printed circuit board repair/replacement, keypad or card reader reprogramming. 3. Lifecycle replacements for access pedestal and gate motor components due to failure or lifecycle needs. Locations include: - Installation Force Modernization Facility: 2 Gates - Installation Mission Training Complex: 1 Gate - Simmons Army Airfield: 16 Gates - Mackall Army Airfield: 3 Gates The total approximate distance covered will be 58 miles during service calls. Period of Performance The ordering period for the BPA is from August 1, 2026 through July 31, 2029. Place of Performance Services will be performed at various locations within Fort Bragg, NC including Installation Force Modernization Facility, Installation Mission Training Complex, Simmons Army Airfield, and Mackall Army Airfield. Bidder Requirements This opportunity is a Small Business Set Aside - Total (SBA). Bidders must be authorized distributors or OEMs for the products involved in the maintenance and repairs of mechanical gates. Contractors must ensure compliance with all federal and state regulations regarding safety and environmental standards.
