Maintenance & Repair of Vertical Conveyance Systems

The City of Tucson is seeking proposals to establish an annual requirements contract for a comprehensive preventive maintenance and repair program for Vertical Conveyance Systems (VCS), which includes elevators, material handling units, and chair lifts. Work Details

The contractor will provide a comprehensive preventive maintenance and repair program that includes: - Routine preventive maintenance of all equipment; - Annual and five-year testing of elevators; - Full-time monitoring of elevator emergency communication systems; - Prompt response to emergencies. Specific services include monthly and quarterly preventative maintenance fees, annual no-load test fees, five-year load test fees, and five-year pressure relief valve test fees for various types of elevators including hydraulic and traction systems from manufacturers such as Thyssenkrupp, US Elevator, Schindler, Otis, Dover, Kone, and others.

The contract will be established as an annual requirements contract with ongoing performance expected throughout the year.

The services will be performed at various locations throughout the City of Tucson where the Vertical Conveyance Systems are installed.
