Background The Indian Health Service (IHS), Phoenix Area Office, is conducting a Sources Sought to identify contractors capable of providing specific medical beds for the Whiteriver Service Unit. This initiative aims to ensure that the procurement aligns with the agency's mission to provide comprehensive health services to American Indians and Alaska Natives. The contract is set aside for Indian Small Business Economic Enterprises (ISBEE) to promote economic opportunities within Native communities. Work Details The contract requires the delivery of the following new medical equipment: - 14 each – FCU BED CENTRELLA SMART BED Base Bed - 2 each - FCU COMPELLA BARIATRIC BED Compella Base Frame - 4 each - OB BED AFFINITY 4 BIRTHING BED Base Frame with toppers. All equipment must be new; remanufactured or 'gray market' items are not acceptable. Vendors must be Original Equipment Manufacturers (OEM) authorized dealers, distributors, or resellers to ensure that OEM warranty and service are provided and maintained. Quotes must include a copy of the authorized distributor letter from the manufacturer and certifications identifying the vendor as an Indian Small Business Economic Enterprise/Native American-owned small business. Bidder Requirements Bidders must meet the following requirements: - Set-aside status: Indian Small Business Economic Enterprise (ISBEE) - Must be an OEM authorized dealer, distributor, or reseller for the proposed equipment/system. - Must provide a copy of the authorized distributor letter from the manufacturer. - Must include representatives and certifications identifying them as an ISBEE/Native American-owned small business.
