Background The United States Army Logistics Readiness Center at Fort Jackson has a new requirement in support of the Fort Jackson Department of Emergency Services Fire Department. The Fire Department operates a fleet of specialized emergency response apparatus essential to protecting the lives, health, and property of the installation community. Among these assets is a 2010 Pierce Contender Pumper Fire Apparatus that was recently involved in an accident causing significant structural and cosmetic damage. An Electronic Financial Liability Investigation of Property Loss (eFLIPL) has been completed, authorizing the procurement of professional repair services. Restoring this apparatus to a Fully Mission Capable (FMC) status is critical for maintaining rapid emergency response and effective firefighting operations. Work Details The Contractor shall provide all necessary labor, parts, and equipment to perform repair and maintenance services on the fire truck. All work must be performed to Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) standards to ensure that the vehicle remains mission capable. The services include but are not limited to: assessing damage, conducting repairs, replacing damaged parts, ensuring compliance with safety standards, and performing routine maintenance as required. Period of Performance The geographic location(s) the contract will be performed (if provided) Place of Performance Services will be conducted within a 40-mile radius of Fort Jackson, SC. Bidder Requirements Bidders must meet the Small Business Set Aside - Total (SBA) status. Additionally, bidders should have relevant experience in fire truck repair and maintenance services, possess necessary licenses and certifications for vehicle repairs, and ensure that key personnel have appropriate qualifications and security clearances as required by the contract.
