Background The USDA APHIS (Animal and Plant Health Inspection Service) is seeking to procure wing trap kits to assist in the detection and monitoring of non-indigenous insect pests. These traps are essential tools for program personnel to identify and manage pest infestations, which, if left unchecked, can lead to significant economic damage. The goal of this contract is to equip personnel with the necessary supplies to effectively monitor insect populations and implement control strategies, potentially saving millions of dollars in eradication costs. Work Details The contract includes the delivery of two types of wing trap kits: 7,000 units of paper wing trap kits and 5,000 units of plastic wing trap kits.
