Background

The Edinburg Consolidated Independent School District (ECISD) is seeking proposals from vendors to provide Property & Casualty Insurance. The goal of this contract is to ensure adequate insurance coverage for the district's assets and liabilities, aligning with its mission to provide a safe and secure educational environment.

Work Details

The contract will cover comprehensive Property & Casualty Insurance services, including but not limited to: general liability, property damage, auto liability, and any other necessary insurance products that meet the district's needs. The successful vendor will be required to provide timely delivery of services and maintain satisfactory performance throughout the contract period.

Period of Performance

The contract will be for a duration of two (2) years with an option for three (3) annual extensions. It can be terminated by either party with sixty (60) days written notice prior to the end of any anniversary date.

Place of Performance

The services will be performed within the geographic boundaries of the Edinburg Consolidated Independent School District, located in Edinburg, Texas.

Bidder Requirements

Bidders must comply with all applicable laws and regulations, including non-discrimination policies as per EEOC guidelines. Vendors must submit a Certificate of Interested Parties (Form 1295) electronically and provide a Conflict of Interest disclosure form if applicable. Additionally, bidders must not be delinquent in school taxes owed to ECISD.
