Pumpout Boat

Background

The County of Ocean is seeking a contractor to supply two (2) current model year or newer pumpout boats. The intent of this bid package is to ensure that the vessels meet specific requirements for quality and functionality, aligning with the County's mission to maintain environmental standards and provide necessary services.

Work Details

The contractor must provide two (2) new, unused pumpout boats that conform to the specifications outlined in the bid package. Each boat must include all standard equipment as listed in the manufacturer's brochure, specification sheets, and price lists. The manufacturer must have been in business for at least three (3) years, and the boat model must have been in production for a minimum of one (1) year. Discontinued or demonstrator models will not be accepted. Additionally, bidders must provide a detailed description of the proposed equipment. Any equivalent proposals must be clearly documented. A minimum of three (3) complete sets of manuals for each model year must be provided upon delivery, including an operator’s manual, parts book, shop service manuals, and hydraulic system manual. The successful contractor will also need to deliver a list of all supplies needed for periodic maintenance for the first year and an 'As Built' list of all installed equipment.

Period of Performance

The contract period will commence upon award and continue until delivery and acceptance of the vessels as specified.

Place of Performance

The vessels are to be delivered for inspection and sea trial at Seaside Park Municipal Marina, 101 J St, Seaside Park, NJ 08752, and Traders Cove Marina, 40 Mantoloking Road, Brick, NJ 08738.

Bidder Requirements

Bidders must provide references from prior sales of similar vessels within the last five (5) years. They are required to comply with all specifications without general exceptions. Each vessel must be delivered with a New Jersey motor vehicle inspection sticker, title issued to Ocean County, registration, and plates. Temporary plates are not acceptable.
