Temporary Employment Services

Background

The City of Bartlett, TN, is seeking proposals from qualified employment agencies to provide seasonal and/or temporary employees. This initiative aims to support the city's various operational needs, particularly in grounds maintenance and solid waste management. Work Details

The selected agency will provide temporary employees for general labor tasks including but not limited to: grounds maintenance (mulching, trimming, weed eating, blowing), solid waste labor for loose leaf collection, and other required yard maintenance. Employees must be capable of performing physical labor outdoors in extreme temperatures. All personnel assigned must adhere to the City’s dress code and safety requirements, including drug screening prior to employment. The agency is responsible for payroll and compliance with all relevant laws regarding employee hiring and management.

Period of Performance

The contract will commence upon execution and will last for an initial term of three years, ending on June 30, 2029. There is an option for two additional three-year renewals based on satisfactory performance and funding availability.

Place of Performance

The services will be performed within the City of Bartlett, Tennessee.

Bidder Requirements

Proposers must have at least three years of experience providing similar temporary employment services. They must also demonstrate sufficient staffing capabilities, provide business references, comply with Title VI guidelines, submit proof of insurance as per city requirements, and include a signed Public Acts 109 Form along with a current W-9 form.
