Requirement Description

On behalf of the 99th Readiness Division (RD) the United States Army Contracting Command - New Jersey (ACC-NJ) has a requirement for Construction Project Services CSS#92345, Repair Parking Lot Lights at the Richmond Armed Force Reserve Center (AFRC) in North Chesterfield, Virginia 23234 (Facility VA050). Attached DRAFT Specification of Work for reference. No solicitation document exists at this time. Issuance of this notice does not constitute any obligation on the part of the Government to procure these services or to issue a solicitation. In addition, the Government is under no obligation to pay for information submitted in response to this notice and responses to this notice cannot be accepted as offers.

(4) Capability Statement detailing previous related requirement work (Not to Exceed 2 Pages). (5) Response via e-mail message is acceptable, please ensure items 1 through 4 are addressed and emailed to nancy.m.zeng.civ@army.mil. Background The United States Army Contracting Command - New Jersey (ACC-NJ) is seeking qualified sources for Construction Project Services to support the 99th Readiness Division (RD). The goal of this contract is to repair parking lot lights at the Richmond Armed Force Reserve Center (AFRC) located in North Chesterfield, Virginia. This notice serves as a source sought notice to gather information regarding the availability and capability of potential contractors. Work Details The contractor will be responsible for the following tasks: 1. Conduct a pre-construction meeting with the Regional Facilities Operations Specialist and project COR to review project specifications. 2. Perform all electrical work under the supervision of a licensed Master Electrician, adhering to the National Electrical Code. 3. Erect poles and mount fixtures according to manufacturer recommendations, including providing concrete bases for outdoor luminaires. 4. Implement erosion control measures to prevent soil runoff into storm drains during excavation activities. 5. Coordinate with Virginia One Call to locate existing utilities before commencing work. 6. Remove and properly dispose of existing solar light/wind turbine fixtures, light poles, and concrete bases as specified in the project work plan. 7. Excavate trenches for electrical conduit and wiring installation from the electrical room to lighting pole locations, ensuring proper depth and adherence to electrical plans.
