SLATE Admissions Platform Consultancy

Background

The University of Arkansas (UA), established in 1871 as a land-grant institution, is seeking proposals for the SLATE Admissions Platform Consultancy. The UA aims to enhance its admissions processes through the evaluation and optimization of its existing Slate admissions system. The goal is to achieve operational efficiency and improve communication capabilities within Slate, while also integrating with the broader student information system, Workday Student.

Work Details

The consultancy will include the following services: 1. Evaluation of current Slate processes and workflows. 2. Recommendations for restructuring processes to enhance efficiency in admissions workflows. 3. Enhancements to communication capabilities within Slate. 4. Assistance in establishing consistent integration events with Workday Student. 5. Ongoing support and training as needed. 6. Initial discovery and assessment phase to evaluate the current SLATE environment, workflows, integrations, and business processes. 7. Recommendations on maintaining separate versus shared Slate instances for graduate and undergraduate admissions. 8. Identification of tools or technologies that may enhance the SLATE environment, with optional pricing for any proposed tools. 9. Needs assessment covering workflow optimization, communication flow audits, reporting capabilities, dashboards, staff training, and technical troubleshooting. 10. Automation of tasks such as transcript evaluation and document verification using AI-driven solutions.

Period of Performance

The contract term will begin upon award and may last for an initial period of four years with an option to renew for three additional years, totaling seven years.

Place of Performance

The services will be performed at the University of Arkansas campus located in Fayetteville, Arkansas.

Bidder Requirements

Respondents must participate in a mandatory pre-proposal conference on June 24, 2026, to clarify any questions regarding the RFP before submitting their proposals. Additionally, bidders must provide references from at least three organizations in higher education that can attest to their qualifications relevant to providing the requested services.
