Scope of Work

The contract work involves the following key tasks: - Decommissioning, removal, and disposal of existing Public Address/Customer Information Screen (PA/CIS) systems. - Furnishing, installing, integrating, testing, and commissioning new PA/CIS systems at B Division stations located in the Bronx, Brooklyn, Manhattan, and Queens. - Furnishing, installing and/or upgrading, integrating, testing, and commissioning new and existing HVAC mechanical systems for Communication Rooms at certain stations. - Performing various architectural, structural, and environmental work as required.

Background

This contract is part of the MTA's ongoing efforts to modernize and upgrade infrastructure at B Division stations across multiple boroughs. The project aims to enhance communication and environmental systems to improve passenger experience and operational efficiency.

Contract Requirements

This contract includes an opportunity to receive an Enhanced Utilization Credit (EUCI), which incentivizes the use of MWBE firms that have had limited or no previous contracting opportunities with the MTA. The EUCI, offered in partnership with Empire State Development, provides an additional fifty percent (50%) credit toward the utilization of EUCI-eligible firms for this contract.
