Replacement Sign Materials

Background

The Susquehanna Regional Transportation Authority (SRTA), doing business as rabbittransit, is issuing an Invitation for Bids (IFB) for the supply and delivery of replacement bus stop sign materials. The Authority's mission is to maintain and improve public transportation services across various counties in Pennsylvania, including Adams, Columbia, Cumberland, Dauphin, Franklin, Harrisburg City, Montour, Northumberland, Perry, Snyder, Union, and York Counties. This contract aims to procure necessary materials for the replacement of deteriorated or non-compliant bus stop signs as part of a broader infrastructure improvement initiative.

Work Details

The contract includes the supply and delivery of 2,200 bus stop signs and 100 QR code signs. The specifications for the bus stop signs include: - Height: 18 inches - Width: 12 inches - Area: 1.50 SF - Substrate: .080 aluminum - Reflectivity: High Intensity Prismatic (HIP) reflective sheeting - Print: Full color digital graphics with specific designs on both sides. The QR code signs will have dimensions of 12 inches by 2 inches with specific mounting requirements. All signs must conform to FHWA standards and be delivered to SRTA's facility in York, Pennsylvania. The contractor is responsible for ensuring that all materials are new and free from defects.

Period of Performance

The contract is set to commence on August 4, 2026. Bids are due by July 6, 2026.

Place of Performance

All products will be delivered to the Susquehanna Regional Transportation Authority located at 415 North Zarfoss Drive, York, Pennsylvania 17404.

Bidder Requirements

Bidders must comply with all applicable Commonwealth and Federal laws. They are required to submit a certification regarding debarment and suspension, a non-collusion affidavit, and proof of insurance coverage prior to contract execution. Additionally, bidders should demonstrate their capacity to meet the specified warranty requirements for the materials supplied.
