Summary: Background The NY Air National Guard, specifically the 106th Rescue Wing at Francis S. Gabreski Air National Guard Base, is issuing this contract for the installation of a reinforced concrete pad and sidewalk repairs. The goal of this contract is to enhance the infrastructure at the main gate and adjacent areas of the base, ensuring compliance with all relevant standards and regulations. Work Details The contractor shall provide all engineering, supervision, labor, parts, equipment, tools, and supplies required to install a reinforced concrete pad for a vehicle control center shack located at the main gate. This includes concrete work for sidewalks next to building 341 at Gabreski Airport. The prefabricated government-furnished guard shack will require an electrical feed from the base Fire Department to its location. All work must comply with the highest standards, rules, codes, regulations, guidance, and laws relevant to the project scope. Period of Performance The period of performance for this project is 90 days from the issuance of Notice to Proceed (NTP). Place of Performance Francis S. Gabreski Air National Guard Base, 150 Old Riverhead Road, Westhampton Beach, N.Y. 11978-1201. Bidder Requirements Bidders must meet the Small Business Set Aside - Total (SBA) requirement. The contractor must have a qualified supervisor or foreman on-site at all times during project execution. Additionally, bidders are required to submit documentation demonstrating similar project experience and personnel qualifications for review and approval.
