Background The National Information Assurance Partnership (NIAP) is a program that establishes standard security requirements for commercial information technology products used by the U.S. Government. The purpose of this announcement is to inform industry partners about an opportunity to collaborate on the development of a new Tactical Radio Protection Profile (TRPP). This profile will be significant for unclassified, non-High Assurance radios that are validated against it, which will be considered for selection in Army initiatives such as the Next Generation Command and Control.
