Summary: Background The Indian Health Service (IHS), specifically the Northern Navajo Medical Center (NNMC) located in Shiprock, New Mexico, requires Preventive Maintenance Services (PMS) and Emergency Repair Services (ERS) for Steris equipment. Work Details The contractor shall provide comprehensive Preventive Maintenance and Emergency Repair Services for Steris equipment, including autoclaves, washer/disinfectors, chamber cleaning systems, and EndoDry/endoscope reprocessing equipment. Key tasks include: 1. Autoclaves: Perform PMS twice a year on specified models, including cleaning and inspection of components. 2. Washers/Disinfectors: Conduct PMS four times a year with detailed tasks such as cleaning chambers, inspecting pumps, calibrating systems, and ensuring compliance with infection control standards. 3. Steam Sterilizers: Perform annual PMS including water quality testing and system inspections. 4. Endodry/Endoscope: Conduct annual PMS focusing on cleaning internal surfaces and verifying proper operation of control systems. The contractor must respond to service calls within 24 hours to minimize downtime. Period of Performance The contract will have a base year from July 1, 2026 to June 30, 2027, with two option years extending through June 30, 2029.
