Summary: Background The Department of Veterans Affairs is issuing this solicitation for the purchase and installation of disposable privacy curtains at various healthcare facilities. The goal of this contract is to enhance patient privacy and comfort in clinical settings by installing new infrastructure for privacy curtains at designated locations, including the Wilmington Health Care Clinic and several Community Based Outpatient Clinics (CBOCs). Work Details The contractor will be responsible for removing existing curtain infrastructure and installing new privacy curtains at six specified locations. The work includes: - Providing all necessary materials such as curtain tracks, hooks, rods, and privacy curtains. - Installing all provided tracks, hooks, rods, and curtains at each designated location. - Ensuring that all installations meet manufacturer and VA performance standards and are functional upon completion. Period of Performance The contract will commence on June 15, 2026, and conclude upon completion of all required installation services by June 14, 2027. Place of Performance The installation will take place at the following locations: 1. Wilmington Health Care Center (1705 Gardner Road, Wilmington, NC 28405) 2. Hamlet Community Based Outpatient Clinic (100 Jefferson Street, Hamlet, NC 28345) 3. Jacksonville CBOC (4006 Henderson Drive, Jacksonville, NC 28546) 4. Josh Court CBOC (4 Josh Court, Jacksonville, NC 28546) 5. Brynn Marr CBOC (306 Brynn Marr Road, Jacksonville, NC 28546) 6. Jacksonville 4 VA Clinic (2580 Henderson Drive, Jacksonville, NC 28546) Bidder Requirements Bidders must be small businesses eligible under the Women-Owned Small Business program. They are required to provide bid/payment/performance bonds and possess the necessary contractor licensing to perform the work described in the Statement of Work.
