Work Details

The contractor is required to provide one Cleveland Range Model No. KGL100, which must be a natural gas-powered steam kettle with the following specifications: - Stationary design with a minimum 2/3 permanently filled water jacket producing steam heat without requiring refilling, rated at 50 psi or better. - Flanged support legs with level-adjustable, boltable feet. - Spring-assisted, hinged, rotatable domed stainless steel cover. - Faucet mounting bracket and hot/cold water faucet with swing spout included. - Drain strainer and food product 2" draw-off valve with drain strainer. - Stainless steel construction with a minimum output of 190,000 BTU and capacity of 100 gallons. - Dimensions: width and depth not exceeding 46", kettle lip height not exceeding 49". - Front-mounted LED readouts for monitoring heat cycle and water level, temperature control, pressure and vacuum gauge, on/off switch, and automatic ignition system. - Set for elevation of 3050 feet; includes necessary gas (¾”) and water (½”) connections. - Delivery must include installation and training at the Idaho State Correctional Center located at 14601 S Pleasant Valley Rd., Kuna, ID 83634.

Period of Performance

The contract period will commence upon award. Delivery of the steam kettle is expected by June 11, 2026.

Bidder Requirements

Bidders must submit their total cost on Exhibit B Price Sheet along with all required submittal items. Quotes submitted via methods other than IPRO must include a signed Idaho Department of Correction Signature Page. There are no specific set-aside certifications mentioned in this solicitation.
