Anticipated award date is in June 2026.
Background The Executive Office for United States Attorneys (EOUSA) is issuing this solicitation on behalf of the United States Attorney's Office, District of Idaho (USAO-ID). The purpose of this contract is to provide Grand Jury court reporting services, which are essential for the USAO-ID to fulfill its mission as the principal litigators under the direction of the Attorney General. The anticipated award date for this contract is June 2026. Work Details The contractor will provide Grand Jury and/or Deposition Court Reporting Services for the USAO. Key tasks include: - Providing a minimum of one court reporter per location, with a maximum of three cleared through security. - Reporting services will be required at three locations: Boise, Pocatello, and Coeur d'Alene. - Each Grand Jury session typically occurs once a month and lasts between 2 to 8 hours. - Historically, there are 8-12 Grand Jury proceedings per year at each location, with 1-2 simultaneous proceedings occurring on any given day. - The contractor must incorporate anticipated travel costs into pricing unless travel exceeds a 50-mile radius from the original location. - No Government Furnished Property will be provided unless necessary. Period of Performance The period of performance for this contract is from July 1, 2026, to June 30, 2031. Place of Performance The services will be performed at the following locations: U.S. Federal Courthouse in Boise (550 W Fort Street), Pocatello (801 E Sherman), and Coeur d'Alene (6450 N Mineral Drive, Ste 210). Bidder Requirements Bidders must have the capability to provide court reporting services and meet security clearance requirements for personnel working in federal facilities. Incumbent Analysis (see Incumbents section for more detail) This opportunity appears to have a confirmed incumbent, with QNA Court Reporting awarded prior USAO District of Idaho grand jury and deposition court reporting services under IDVs 15JA0521D00000079 (05/01/21–04/30/26, $214,558) and 15JA0522D00000156 (07/01/22–06/30/26, $112,035). The prior work involved court reporting for both grand jury proceedings and depositions at the USAO-ID, including the Coeur d’Alene location, which aligns closely with the current requirement to provide recurring grand jury court reporting services (and related deposition reporting) at Boise, Pocatello, and Coeur d’Alene.
