Work Details The objective of this contract is to purchase a high temperature large area blackbody that supports calibration of infrared instruments. The specifications for the blackbody emitter include: it must achieve a high temperature range of at least 600 °C and maintain a temperature accuracy of 0.5 °C; it must be capable of operating in an upward-looking orientation; and it must have an effective emitting surface area of a minimum of 10” x 10”. Period of Performance The lead time for delivery is estimated to be around 2-3 months from the order date. Place of Performance NASA Ames Earth Planetary Instrumentation and Calibration (EPIC) Lab.
