Background

The Town of Carlisle, Massachusetts, is seeking sealed bids for custodial services at the Carlisle Public Schools. Work Details

The selected vendor will provide comprehensive custodial services including: - Daily trash removal and relining of receptacles. - Vacuuming of entryway mats nightly. - Cleaning of all bathroom fixtures and floors nightly. - Checking and refilling dispensers nightly. - Sweeping, mopping, and vacuuming of all floor surfaces nightly, with full damp mopping at least once a week. - Dusting and damp wiping of horizontal surfaces weekly, ensuring no personal items are disturbed. - Monthly dusting of reachable vents. - Additional duties as required based on the Facilities Use Calendar such as setting up for events or cleaning cafeteria areas. Specific buildings include Corey Building, Robbins Building, Wilkins Building, Grant/Wilkins Building, and Spalding Building with detailed tasks outlined for each area.

Period of Performance

The contract will commence upon award and is expected to continue until June 30, 2026.

The custodial services will be performed at various locations within the Carlisle Public Schools in Carlisle, Massachusetts.

Bidder Requirements

Bidders must have at least three years of experience in commercial or municipal custodial services. They are required to submit a bid deposit (5% of the bid value) in the form of a bid bond or certified check. Additionally, bidders must provide various certifications including non-collusion, tax compliance, OSHA compliance, and references for similar projects.
