Background The National Park Service (NPS), Boston National Historical Park (BOST), is issuing this Request for Quote (RFQ) for relocation and moving services at the Easton Building, located at 15 State Street, Boston, MA 02109. The purpose of this contract is to facilitate the relocation of various tenant groups and their belongings to different destinations within the Boston metropolitan area and beyond. The NPS oversees this project as part of its mission to manage historical sites and ensure smooth transitions for its operations. Work Details The Contractor shall provide all labor, supervision, equipment, materials, vehicles, parking permits, and incidental services necessary for the relocation and moving services. The work is organized into six distinct Contract Line Item Numbers (CLINs) corresponding to different tenant groups and service types: 1. **Boston NHP – Furniture & Files**: Move pre-labelled furniture from multiple floors to Charlestown Navy Yard and box files from designated cabinets. 2. **OCLP – Philadelphia Boxes**: Transport approximately 150 pre-packed banker's boxes from Floor 6 to the Northeast Regional Offices in Philadelphia. 3. **NERO – HR/Legislative Boxes**: Move around 30 pre-packed boxes from Floors 5 & 7 to the Northeast Regional Offices. 4. **DOI Solicitor's Office**: Relocate approximately 70 boxes along with desks, file cabinets, bookcases, and a printer table from Floor 8. 5. **Revolutionary Spaces – Library & Furniture**: Box/move library collections, disassemble/reassemble a conference table, and relocate various office furniture items. 6. **Boston Harbor Now – Art, Signage & Furniture**: Move pre-packed boxes, sign frames, fine-art pieces, and assorted furniture items while ensuring separation from other consolidated items. Period of Performance The period of performance for this contract is anticipated to be from July 20, 2026, to September 30, 2026. Place of Performance The primary location for performance will be at the Easton Building located at 15 State Street, Boston, MA 02109 with additional destinations including Charlestown Navy Yard in Boston and Northeast Regional Offices in Philadelphia. Bidder Requirements Offerors must demonstrate technical competence by providing evidence of necessary insurance as indicated in the Scope of Work. They are also required to submit a brief description of a minimum of three projects performed within the last five years that are similar in size and scope. Additionally, past performance documentation must include three examples of recent projects with details such as narrative descriptions, locations, dollar values, client names, and contact information.
