Background The Defense Health Agency (DHA) is a joint, integrated Combat Support Agency that enables the Army, Navy, and Air Force medical services to provide a medically ready force to Combatant Commands in both peacetime and wartime. The DHA aims to advance high reliability practices across the Military Health System by improving operations, driving innovative solutions, and cultivating a culture of safety. This contract is designed to implement a performance-based strategic sourcing acquisition program for Medical Q-Coded services outside the continental United States (OCONUS) in support of Military Treatment Facilities (MTFs). The objective is to award five separate single-award Indefinite Delivery Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) contracts for various labor segments including direct patient services providers, mental health, nursing services, medical support, and dental services. Work Details The contractor shall recruit, qualify, manage, maintain, and provide qualified medical contract staff in direct patient care and associated support services. Services include credentialed (privileged and non-privileged) and non-credentialed contract workers across various labor categories. The required services may be procured under personal or non-personal service arrangements and may include in-person and virtual services (telehealth). Specific tasks include: 1. Providing qualified medical staff for hospitals, clinics, dental facilities, health activities, and satellite locations; 2. Conducting analytical support to geographical networks; 3. Ensuring all required tools and materials are provided as per the contract; 4. Not performing inherently governmental functions; 5. Addressing staffing needs for both centralized and decentralized procurement approaches. Period of Performance The period of performance will be determined at the task order level with an estimated five-year ordering period. Place of Performance Services will be performed at various Department of Defense locations as identified in Technical Exhibit 3.
