Summary: Background The National Park Service (NPS) is seeking quotations for construction services related to the roof replacement at the Harry S Truman National Historic Site located in Independence, Missouri. The goal of this contract is to ensure the maintenance and preservation of the historic site by replacing the roofs of the GW and FW buildings. The NPS operates under the mission to preserve and protect America's natural and cultural resources for future generations. Work Details The scope of work includes the complete replacement of roofs for the GW and FW buildings at the Harry S Truman National Historic Site. The contractor will be required to provide a Payment Bond or an Irrevocable Letter of Credit amounting to 100% of the contract value within 10 calendar days after award. The work must adhere to all applicable federal, state, and local regulations, including compliance with wage determinations for construction types in Missouri. Period of Performance The geographic location(s) the construction projects will be performed (if provided) Place of Performance The construction projects will be performed at Harry S Truman National Historic Site, located at 223 North Main Street, Independence, MO 64050. Bidder Requirements To be eligible for bidding on this project, contractors must meet several requirements: they must hold a valid Unique Entity Identifier (UEI) and be registered with an active status at the time of submission and throughout contract performance. Additionally, bidders must comply with bonding requirements and demonstrate prior experience in similar projects. All firms involved in developing design or specifications for this solicitation are prohibited from receiving any part of this award.
