Sources Sought/Request for Information (RFI) The Regional Contracting Office is issuing this Request for Information (RFI) as a means of collecting information that will identify parties that have an interest in and the resources to provide Two (2) Dishwasher Waste System to include 1 year parts and labor (standard), and voltage 480/3 phase (20 amps or less) for Food Services at Marine Corps Recruit Depot- Parris Island. This request for capability information does not constitute a request for proposals; submission of any information in response to this market survey is purely voluntary; the Government assumes no financial responsibility for any costs incurred. Background The Regional Contracting Office is seeking information from potential suppliers who can provide Two (2) Dishwasher Waste Systems for Food Services at the Marine Corps Recruit Depot in Parris Island. This Request for Information (RFI) aims to identify interested parties with the resources to fulfill this requirement. Work Details The contract requires the delivery of two (2) Waste Handling Systems with the following specifications: - Close-coupled design - 7.5 HP grinder motor with a 30" slurry chamber and a 3 HP water extractor - 12" stainless steel disk - Four (4) stationary blocks with two (2) cutting surfaces - Two (2) stainless steel shearing blades - HMI/PLC touch screen controls with onboard diagnostics - Proactive maintenance software - Auto fill feature - Automated clean cycle/extractor flushing system - Deodorizer pump - Automatic drain and trough connection - Re-circulating pump - Stop/start station with flanged feet and vibration dampening pad - Capable of processing a maximum of 1000 lbs/hr of food service waste, including food scraps, paper, plastic, and cardboard. Additionally, the contract includes one year of standard parts and labor warranty for each unit. The systems must operate on Voltage 480/3 phase, at 20 amps or less. No installation is needed at this time.
