Background The Boise VA Medical Center (BVAMC), under the Network Contracting Office 20 (NCO20), is issuing a solicitation for a Firm Fixed Price Indefinite Delivery/Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) Single Award Task Order Contract (SATOC). This contract aims to support the maintenance, repair, replacement, and/or demolition of various systems including Plumbing, HVAC-R, Mechanical, Electrical, and Control Systems at the BVAMC campus. The goal is to ensure the operational integrity of these critical systems while adhering to the Buy American Act. Work Details The contractor will be responsible for a wide range of tasks including but not limited to: - Maintenance and repair of plumbing systems such as drain, waste, and vent repairs; medical gas analysis; plumbing leak repairs; and installation of plumbing fixtures. - HVAC-R system services including duct work testing and repair; AC compressor maintenance; boiler repairs; and installation of heat exchangers. - Electrical system repairs covering generators, transformers, panels, switches, and general electrical components. - Mechanical system maintenance including medical air stations and compressors. - Facility support services like carpentry, road repairs, landscaping, painting, and snow removal. The prior award 36C26018D0012-36C26023N0520 was awarded to Global Engineering Services for $3,706,122 (09/29/23–10/06/26) to correct mechanical and electrical deficiencies under the VISN-20 Construction IDIQ MATOC, which aligns with the current requirement to perform maintenance, repair, replacement, and/or demolition of mechanical/electrical systems (and related facility support) at the same campus.

The resulting contract will support the maintenance, repair, replacement, and/or demolition of Plumbing, HVAC-R, Mechanical, Electrical, and Control Systems, which may include ancillary construction and facility support services at the Boise VAMC campus. Work may include, but is not limited to, routine and emergency response tasks for these systems. All work will comply with the Buy American Act. The prime contractor must possess and provide evidence of a current, valid Plumbing contractor license and a current, valid HVAC-R contractor license in the State of Idaho, submitting updated documentation annually or upon any change in licensure status. A prime contractor representative must respond on-site at the Boise VA Medical Center within two (2) hours of any emergent need.
