Background The contract is issued by the U.S. Army for Laundry and Dry Cleaning services at Fort Drum, NY. The goal of this contract is to provide comprehensive laundry services in accordance with Army Regulation 210-130, ensuring that all fabrics, textiles, garments, and linens are laundered and pressed to meet military standards. The agency emphasizes sustainability and compliance with environmental policies. Work Details The Contractor is responsible for providing all resources necessary to perform laundry and dry cleaning services, including: 1. Pickup of MEDDAC linen from the MEDDAC warehouse located at building P-11050B Mount Belvedere Blvd, Fort Drum, NY 13602 on Tuesdays and Fridays between 8:00 AM and 11:30 AM. 2. Delivery of laundered linen back to the same location within a specified processing time of 72 hours. 3. Compliance with sustainable acquisition requirements by using products that are energy-efficient, water-efficient, bio-based, environmentally preferable, non-ozone depleting, or made with recovered materials. 4. Adherence to environmental management systems and cultural resource protection laws while conducting work on Fort Drum. 5. Minimization of interference with fish and wildlife during operations, particularly concerning federally endangered species such as the Indiana bat. Period of Performance The geographic location(s) the contract will be performed (if provided). Place of Performance Fort Drum, NY. Bidder Requirements Bidders must be small business concerns as this acquisition is set-aside for them. Contractors must ensure compliance with all applicable federal, state, local laws, ordinances, rules, and regulations related to the performance of this contract. Additionally, contractors must possess necessary permits and licenses required for operation. Incumbent Analysis (see Incumbents section for more detail) This opportunity for laundry and dry cleaning services at Fort Drum, NY shows a confirmed incumbent, with Trenton City Cleaners awarded prior MEDDAC laundry and related laundry/dry-cleaning work under contracts W911S224D6011-W911S225FA129 ($100,850, 07/01/25–06/30/26) and W911S224D6011-W911S224F6070 ($44,922, 07/09/24–06/30/25). The prior awards appear to be a continuation of the same type of base laundry support—laundering and pressing textiles/linens with pickup and return logistics—under Army Regulation 210-130 requirements, and additional closely related Trenton City Cleaners awards for AFSBN laundry further indicate ongoing performance in similar functions.
