Work Details The Contractor shall perform bat guano remediation in the attics of Lincoln Hall (B3603) and Borglum Hall (B2204). This includes: 1. Removal of bat guano and contaminated materials, ensuring all surfaces are cleaned to remove traces of bat guano. 2. Disinfection of affected areas using EPA-registered disinfectants, with documentation provided to demonstrate effectiveness against pathogens associated with bat guano. 3. Proper disposal of waste materials in compliance with federal, state, and local regulations, including providing documentation of disposal. 4. Restoration of insulation where removed, using R-30 rolled fiberglass insulation installed per building codes and manufacturer's instructions. 5. Implementation of measures to protect occupants and government property during remediation, including dust control measures. Period of Performance The contractor shall coordinate a start date within 15 calendar days of award, with all work to be completed within 30 calendar days from the agreed upon start date. Place of Performance The work will be performed at Lincoln Hall (B3603) and Borglum Hall (B2204) located at Ellsworth AFB, Meade County, SD. Bidder Requirements Bidders must provide all necessary personnel, materials, equipment, and personal protective equipment required for the project. Compliance with OSHA and AFOSH standards is mandatory. Contractors must have experience in hazardous waste disposal and be able to document compliance with all applicable regulations.
