Background The U.S. National Science Foundation (NSF), Directorate for Technology, Innovation and Partnerships (TIP), is seeking proposals from eligible organizations to serve as the National Coordination Lead for the TechAccess: AI-Ready America program. The goal of this contract is to support national coordination, knowledge sharing, technical assistance, AI deployment support, partner engagement, and program documentation across the AI-Ready America effort. NSF anticipates issuing one Other Transaction (OT) award for this initiative. Work Details The National Lead will be responsible for executing seven performance workstreams: 1) State/Territory-level Coordination Hub Support and Technical Assistance; 2) National-Level Knowledge Sharing, Visibility, and Identification of Gaps; 3) National AI Deployment Support; 4) Industry and Philanthropy Engagement; 5) National Coordination Within Priority Sectors; 6) Structured Reporting Framework; and 7) Evaluation of Program Implementation. Specific tasks include conducting needs assessments, developing technical assistance frameworks, organizing annual convenings, creating shared resources, monitoring effectiveness of support, facilitating partnerships with industry and philanthropy, and ensuring alignment with national initiatives. The proposing team must demonstrate comprehensive expertise in AI readiness across various contexts and have the capacity to execute all workstreams effectively. Period of Performance The geographic location(s) the contract will be performed (if provided) Place of Performance The contract will be performed at various locations as determined by the needs of the Coordination Hubs across states and territories in the U.S. Bidder Requirements Bidders must demonstrate significant commitment from Senior Key Personnel (SKP), with at least one individual committing no less than 75% full-time effort to the project. The proposing team must collectively possess deep technical understanding of AI, experience in education and workforce development related to AI readiness, and a proven ability to convene stakeholders across multiple sectors.
