Background

Florence One Schools (F1S) is seeking proposals from qualified, licensed vendors to provide Professional Signage Services on an as-needed basis across various school properties and district facilities. The goal is to ensure a safe, professional, and visually appealing environment for students, staff, and visitors. This solicitation is issued under the South Carolina Consolidated Procurement Code and applicable Florence One Schools procurement policies.

Work Details

The selected vendor(s) will provide high-quality signage fabrication, installation, repair, replacement, and maintenance services. Services include: - Manufacture and installation of PVC letters - Aluminum letters - Monument signs - Building identification signage - Logo lettering systems - Mascot logos - ADA-compliant signage - Illuminated and non-illuminated signs - LED message centers (including Watchfire products) - Sign troubleshooting and maintenance services. Emergency services may include immediate response to damaged or missing signage affecting safety or operations. The contractor must provide all necessary labor, tools, equipment, materials, and comply with OSHA regulations and local laws.

Period of Performance

The initial term of the contract will be for one year with options to renew for four additional one-year periods for a total of five years. Services will be performed on an as-needed basis without guaranteed minimum quantities.

Place of Performance

Services will be performed at designated school campuses and district facilities throughout Florence County and the surrounding service area.

Bidder Requirements

Vendors must be locally based within the Pee Dee Area and properly licensed. They must comply with all applicable South Carolina contractor licenses and maintain insurance coverage including: - Commercial General Liability Insurance ($1 million per occurrence)

Workers' Compensation Insurance

- Employer's Liability Insurance ($500,000) - Commercial Automobile Liability Insurance ($1 million) - Commercial Crime Insurance ($500,000). Vendors must also pass background checks conducted by the South Carolina Law Enforcement Division (SLED).
