Background

Multnomah County is seeking vendors to provide food catering and/or venue services. The services are intended to meet a diverse set of needs for County-hosted community meetings and events, supporting the County's mission to promote health, justice, and wellness through food provided at these gatherings.

Work Details

Vendors can apply for either CATEGORY 1: Catering or CATEGORY 2: Venue services, or both. For catering, services must be appropriate for specified event sizes (5-50, 51-100, 101-150, and 151+ attendees) and adhere to the County’s food service and sustainability requirements. Catering services include: - Food delivery (including pick-up) - Onsite dining - Full-service catering - Bundled food and venue services. For venue services, vendors must provide appropriate facilities that comply with the County’s guidelines for nutrition and responsible business practices. Key requirements include: - Offering balanced, inclusive menu options - Minimizing food waste - Sourcing locally - Ensuring ADA compliance - Providing necessary amenities like AV equipment - Maintaining health safety standards.

Period of Performance

The contract term will be negotiated at the time of contract execution but will not exceed five years.
