UMC Summit Tower Floors 2 & 6 Remodel

Background

The University Medical Center of Southern Nevada (UMC) is issuing this solicitation for the remodel of floors 2 and 6 of the Summit Tower, located at 2040 W Charleston Blvd, Las Vegas, NV 89102. The goal of this contract is to renovate approximately 2,574 square feet on the second floor to a vanilla shell and to demo and build out 9,260 square feet on the sixth floor. This project aims to enhance the facility's operational capabilities.

Work Details

The scope of work includes: - Demolition and renovation of approximately 2,574 square feet on the second floor. - Demolition and renovation of 9,260 square feet on the sixth floor. - Asbestos abatement (if applicable). - Installation of new plumbing lines. - Installation of HVAC systems. - Electrical work including wiring and fixtures. - Finishes such as flooring, wall coverings, and ceilings. - Millwork including cabinetry and countertops. - Communications infrastructure installation.

Period of Performance

The contract period will commence upon award and is expected to be completed within a specified timeframe detailed in the final contract documents.

Place of Performance

All work will be performed at UMC's Summit Tower located at 2040 W Charleston Blvd, Las Vegas, NV 89102.

Bidder Requirements

Bidders must be registered in the Nevada Government eMarketplace (NGEM) to view this solicitation. They must possess a valid contractor's license as per Nevada Revised Statutes Chapter 624. Bidders are required to submit a Bid Security amounting to five percent (5%) of the total base bid amount. Additionally, they must comply with all provisions regarding federal debarment as outlined in NRS Chapter 338.
