Monochloramine Disinfection Systems Services

Background

The New York City Housing Authority (NYCHA) is seeking quotations for an Indefinite Delivery Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) contract for the purchase, installation, maintenance, water sampling, servicing, and repair of Monochloramine Disinfection Systems. This contract aims to ensure the effective treatment of hot and/or cold-water distribution systems at various NYCHA developments citywide. The contract term is set for three years from the award date on NYCHA's Purchase Order, with an option for two one-year renewals at NYCHA's discretion.

Work Details

The contractor will be responsible for: 1. Complete installation of a monochloramine disinfection system including labor, parts, and materials. 2. Ongoing maintenance and servicing of the installed systems. 3. Water sampling and testing as required to ensure compliance with health standards. 4. Repair services as needed throughout the duration of the contract.

Period of Performance

The contract will be performed over a period of three years from the award date on NYCHA's Purchase Order, with options for two one-year extensions.

Place of Performance

Various NYCHA developments citywide in New York City.

Bidder Requirements

Bidders must provide bid security of $50,000 and performance & payment bonds also totaling $50,000. Each bidder and subcontractor must be registered with the New York State Department of Labor as per Article 8, Section 220-i of the New York State Labor Law. Additionally, Section 3 REO & OEO Plans must be submitted via eComply. Bidders are encouraged to attend a non-mandatory pre-bid conference and must comply with all requirements outlined in the solicitation documents.
