Ramp Blocks

Background

The Idaho Department of Fish & Game (IDFG) is seeking quotes from qualified vendors for the purchase and delivery of approximately seventy (70) Ramp Blocks. These pre-casted concrete ramp blocks are essential for creating modular, transportable boat launch ramps that provide maximum traction for tow vehicles during boat launching and retrieval.

Work Details

The contract involves supplying approximately 70 concrete ramp blocks with the following specifications: each block must be 10 feet long, 14 inches wide, and 7 inches thick, made from a 6 bag mix with ¾ inch aggregate and a rough finish. The blocks must feature a top surface with 90-degree v-grooves angled at 30 degrees to enhance traction, with specific dimensions for the grooves. Additionally, each block must include two embedded steel straps and a specified arrangement of rebar for structural integrity. The contractor is responsible for unloading the blocks at the delivery location, which is the IDFG Farragut Public Shooting Range in Athol, ID.

Period of Performance

The performance period will be defined upon contract award, with delivery expected to occur Monday through Thursday between 8:00 AM and 4:00 PM local time, excluding recognized holidays.

Place of Performance

Delivery will take place at IDFG Farragut Public Shooting Range, ATTN: Ethan McCracken, located at 33644 N Shooters Road, Athol, ID 83801.

Bidder Requirements

Vendors must have a current written agreement with the manufacturer as an authorized dealer or reseller for the products being quoted. Additionally, all bids must comply with Idaho Code regulations regarding debarment and eligibility to participate in state contracts.
