Childress Roof Replacement

Background

The Texas Department of Public Safety (DPS) is seeking bids for the replacement of the roofing at its office located in Childress, Texas. Work Details

The contractor will be responsible for all necessary supervision, labor, materials, and equipment required to replace the roofing. The work must ensure that the roof system is fully functional and weather-resistant.

Period of Performance

The initial contract term will commence on the effective date stated in the signing document or purchase order and will expire one year from that effective date. DPS reserves the right to extend the contract for an additional six-month period if necessary.

The work will be performed at the Texas Department of Public Safety office located in Childress, Texas.

Bidder Requirements

Respondents must have been engaged in roofing services in Texas for at least five years. All personnel must be equipped with standard tools of the trade and appropriately licensed or certified in Texas. Additionally, contractors must provide evidence of financial stability, including audited financial statements or a Dun & Bradstreet report. A performance bond is required for contracts exceeding $100,000 and a payment bond for contracts over $25,000.
