Privacy Vision Panel. 16"x16"

Background

The Texas Health and Human Services Commission (HHSC) is an agency within the Texas Health and Human Services (HHS) system, responsible for overseeing health and human services in Texas. The Procurement and Contracting Services (PCS) division of HHSC administers Invitations for Bids (IFBs) for HHS. HHSC PCS is seeking competitive bids to establish contracts for Privacy Vision Panels for Kerrville State Hospital. Both HHSC and the Department of State Health Services (DSHS) are entitled to use any contract awarded as a result of this IFB.

Work Details

The contract requires the provision of Privacy Vision Panels with a nominal size of 16"x16". Bidders must provide sufficient literature if bidding products other than those specified to allow evaluation. Reworked products or those previously refused for delivery will not be accepted. Substitutions are prohibited unless prior written approval is obtained from the HHSC Purchaser. Delivery guidelines include specific instructions on labeling, parking, and interaction with residents at the facility. All deliveries must arrive on time, and any products that do not meet specifications will be rejected at the vendor's expense.

Period of Performance

The initial contract term will begin on June 22, 2026, and expire on August 31, 2026. The HHS Agency may extend the term for up to one additional year as necessary.

Place of Performance

The contract will be performed at Kerrville State Hospital in Texas.

Bidder Requirements

Bidders must comply with Historically Underutilized Business (HUB) Program requirements as outlined by the Comptroller of Public Accounts. All responses must include completed Exhibit A - HHS Solicitation Affirmations and Exhibit C - Pricing Sheet. Bidders must also ensure compliance with all specified terms regarding pricing structure, invoice submission, and performance monitoring.
