2 New Motor Graders with Sloper

Background

Colquitt County is issuing a solicitation for the procurement of two new motor graders with slopers to be utilized by the Road and Bridge Department. The county aims to enhance its infrastructure capabilities through this acquisition, ensuring that the equipment meets specific operational requirements.

Work Details

The contract involves providing two (2) new motor graders with slopers that meet the following specifications: - Model: 140 CAT, 670G J.D. or equivalent - Weight: Minimum 37,000 lbs without scarifier - Engine: Six-cylinder turbocharged diesel, minimum 170HP, 7.0 litre, Tier 4 Final - Blade: 14 ft hydraulic side shift & tip, heavy-duty 7/8 inch thick - Transmission: Power shift – 8 speed forward & 6 speed reverse - Brakes: 4 wheel wet (oil) disc brakes - Tires: 14:00 x 24 – 12 ply radial tire on 10” multi-piece rims - Cab: Enclosed pressurized, sound suppressed ROPS with heater, air conditioner, laminated glass with fixed front, minimum (6) cab grading lights (all lights to be LED), AM/FM Bluetooth radio with weatherband, rear view mirror, and deluxe air suspension type seat with seatbelt. - Differential: Lock/unlock type - Additional features include electric over hydraulic controls with joystick steering, back-up alarm, rear hitch, engine enclosure, tool box, rear camera, and vandal protection kit. Warranty includes a 5-year/7500 hour full machine warranty with no deductible and a replacement machine if the grader is in the shop for more than 7 days. The sloper specifications include a Rome Sloper GS16MHF4 or equal with a 16 ft moldboard and full hydraulic control from the motor grader seat.

Period of Performance

The contract performance period extends until June 30, 2026.

Place of Performance

The equipment will be delivered to Colquitt County at the Purchasing Department located in the Colquitt County Court House Annex, Moultrie, Georgia.

Bidder Requirements

Bidders must comply with all specifications outlined in the solicitation and are required to bid on all items listed. Failure to do so will disqualify their bid. Additionally, bidders must provide warranty details and delivery timelines.
