Background

The State of Nevada, Highway Patrol is seeking proposals for phlebotomy services specifically for DUI arrests in the Incline Village, NV area. Work Details

The selected PROVIDER will be responsible for: - Collecting evidentiary blood samples upon request, 24/7, without additional costs for after-hours calls. - Ensuring that only licensed personnel who meet qualifications under NRS 484C.250 withdraw blood samples. - Maintaining custody and control of blood samples until they are delivered to a peace officer from the Nevada State Police (NSP). - Adhering to strict chain of custody protocols and documenting any deviations from standard procedures. - Completing affidavits for each blood draw as required by NRS 50.315(4). - Providing testimony in administrative or judicial proceedings if requested by NSP or prosecuting authorities. - Communicating any issues affecting service delivery promptly to NSP.

Period of Performance

The contract will be performed continuously, 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, as needed, with no specified end date provided in the solicitation.
