Work Details
The contractor will be responsible for cleanup and turf maintenance across approximately 32 acres of mowable areas within the designated parks. Specific tasks include: - Cleanup of trash, debris, and tree branches under two inches in diameter from all mowable areas. - Mowing grass to a height of 3 to 3.5 inches on a schedule not exceeding 16 mows in 2026, with mowing commencing by April 15 and concluding by October 31. - Edging around objects that cannot be mowed around, ensuring all street curbs, mow strips, hard surface median areas, posts, poles, utility boxes, and sidewalks are kept vegetation-free. - Chemical edging may be employed at the contractor's discretion using Glyphosate with a preemergent for areas where hand-trimming is impractical. - All equipment used must be inspected and approved by the Contract Manager prior to contract signing. Turf-type tires must be used on all mowing equipment.
