Background

The Oregon Department of Corrections (ODOC) is seeking to establish a Price Agreement for Grease Trap Cleaning and Service at the Two Rivers Correctional Institution (TRCI). This initiative aims to ensure proper maintenance and service of grease traps within correctional facilities, aligning with ODOC's mission to maintain safe and sanitary conditions. The contract will be awarded based on bids submitted in response to the Invitation to Bid (ITB) S-29100-00017033.

Work Details

The contractor will provide grease trap cleaning and service as specified in the ITB. This includes: - Regular cleaning and maintenance of grease traps at TRCI. - Compliance with all local, state, and federal regulations regarding waste disposal. - Documentation of services performed, including dates, quantities, and any issues encountered during service. - Emergency service availability as needed. The contractor must ensure that all services meet the specifications outlined in Section 5 of the ITB.

Period of Performance

The initial term of the Price Agreement will be two (2) years from the date of award, with the possibility of extensions up to a maximum total term of ten (10) years, subject to mutual agreement.

Place of Performance

Services will be performed at the Two Rivers Correctional Institution located at 82911 Beach Access Road, Umatilla, Oregon 97882.

Bidder Requirements

Bidders must be established manufacturers or authorized dealers capable of providing the required services. They must comply with all applicable insurance requirements, including general liability and workers' compensation coverage. Additionally, bidders are required to submit a Certificate of Insurance within seven (7) calendar days after notification of award. The contractor must also pass a criminal background check for personnel entering ODOC facilities.
