Renovation of the Toddlers Playground

Background

Weber State University is issuing this Invitation for Bids (IFB) to solicit bids for the renovation of the Toddler Playground. The goal of this contract is to engage a contractor who can provide construction services that meet the specifications outlined in the solicitation. This initiative aligns with the university's commitment to enhancing its facilities for educational and recreational purposes.

Work Details

The contractor will be responsible for the renovation of the Toddler Playground located outside the McKay Education Building, as per the provided plans and specifications. This includes site preparation, installation of playground equipment, landscaping, and any necessary safety features. Additionally, there is an alternate bid option for supplying and installing a steel canopy over the playground area.

Period of Performance

The contract will be executed as a one-time purchase order with work expected to commence following contract award. The university reserves the right to purchase additional products based on this bid for up to 120 days after the initial purchase.

The work will be performed at Weber State University, specifically at the Toddler Playground outside the McKay Education Building in Ogden, Utah.

Bidder Requirements

Bidders must attend a mandatory pre-bid meeting scheduled for May 28, 2026. They are required to provide a 100% payment bond and a 100% performance bond before work begins. A five percent bid bond is also required from all bidders. Bidders must comply with all prerequisites outlined in the IFB, including insurance requirements.
