Background NASA has tasked the US Army Corps of Engineers Engineering and Support Center, Huntsville, to initiate a Facility Reduction requirement at the NASA Wallops Flight Facility. The goal of this contract is to procure pre-demolition surveys for various buildings that are considered excess and will be demolished. This solicitation is 100% set aside for Woman Owned Small Business (WOSB). Work Details The contractor is required to perform pre-demolition sampling services according to the Performance Work Statement (PWS). The work includes: - Conducting pre-demolition surveys for various buildings at NASA Wallops Flight Facility located at 175 Chincoteague Rd, Wallops Island, VA 23337. - Ensuring compliance with installation entrance and security requirements. - Completing AT Level I awareness training for all employees requiring access to federally controlled facilities. - Adhering to operations security (OPSEC) requirements. The contractor must provide a firm-fixed price proposal that includes all costs associated with professional labor, materials, supplies, sampling, travel, and any other costs necessary for the performance of the work outlined in the PWS. A proposed project schedule using a Gantt chart format detailing major activities such as abatement, demolition, and restoration is also required.
