Work Details The contractor will perform comprehensive renovation tasks at the Golden Gate National Cemetery, specifically in designated burial sections. Key tasks include: - conducting site surveys; - preparing grading plans and headstone realignment plans; - clearing vegetation; - grading and drainage work; - excavation and backfill; - handling and cleaning markers; - installing a geogrid support system for markers; - turf renovation; and - site restoration. The work area includes gravesite sections E, F, I, M, and an optional section Q. The contractor must ensure that headstones are raised, realigned, and cleaned without physically removing them from their gravesites. All work must be completed within 365 calendar days after receipt of Notice of Award. Period of Performance The contract will be performed over a period of 365 calendar days after receipt of Notice of Award, with an optional bid period of 120 days for additional work in section Q.
