Background The Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) is issuing this solicitation for preventative maintenance and services for ice machines at the Oklahoma City VA Health Care System and the Lawton Oklahoma Community-Based Outpatient Clinic (CBOC). The goal of this contract is to ensure that ice machines are maintained in optimal working condition to support the health care services provided by the VA. Work Details The contractor will provide semi-annual preventative maintenance services for ice machines located at the Oklahoma City VA Medical Center and Lawton OPC. Specific tasks include: 1. Conducting inspections and servicing of ice machines as per the established schedule. 2. Ensuring that all technicians hold valid EPA Section 608 certifications for handling refrigerants. 3. Reporting to designated VA personnel upon arrival and departure from the facility. 4. Submitting a quality assurance surveillance plan prior to commencing work. 5. Adhering to all safety regulations, including OSHA standards, during service operations. 6. Providing documentation of all service actions performed, including a summary emailed to the Contracting Officer's Representative (COR). Period of Performance The contract will have a base year starting from June 1, 2026, through May 31, 2027, with four option years extending through May 31, 2031.
