Background This solicitation is issued by the 502d Civil Engineer Squadron (502 CES) at Joint Base San Antonio (JBSA) Fort Sam Houston (FSH). The purpose of the contract is to replace the existing Closed Circuit Cooling Towers at Buildings 590 and 591, which have reached the end of their operational life cycle. The goal is to ensure reliable and efficient operation of HVAC systems in these facilities by providing a complete, commissioned, and fully operational system in accordance with applicable codes and standards. Work Details The contractor is required to provide all project management, supervision, labor, tools, materials, and equipment necessary for the life-cycle replacement of HVAC systems at Buildings 590 and 591. This includes: 1. Purchase and installation of two (2) Closed-Circuit Fluid Coolers and Associated Pumps. 2. Replacement of existing HVAC systems (SPX ReCold, Model: MW-30C) with a 'brand name or equal' system. 3. Coordination of all required incidental services and completion of equipment setup and commissioning activities. 4. Compliance with all applicable Federal, State, and Local codes, regulations, and standards. Place of Performance The work will be performed at two locations within Joint Base San Antonio Fort Sam Houston: Building 590 located at 2539 Old Austin Rd, Texas 78234, and Building 591 located at 2611 Old Austin Rd, Texas 78234.
