This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotations are being requested, and a written solicitation will not be issued. This combined synopsis constitutes a solicitation and incorporates provisions and clauses in effect through federal acquisition circular 2024-02. The solicitation number is 70Z03626Q0017. The United States Coast Guard is seeking a qualified contractor to provide all labor, materials and equipment as required to renew select perimeter fencing and gates at USCG BASE Charleston. All work shall take place at the following location: U.S. Coast Guard Base Charleston 196 Tradd St, Charleston, SC. 29401 Ensure sure that your UEI is updated/or registered via www.SAM.gov website. It is mandatory that your UEI number is active within the SAM.gov website before doing business with the Coast Guard. Interested vendors must download and review all attachments included in this solicitation package, which consists of the Statement of Work (SOW), Dept. of Labor wage rates for construction, SF-1442, and applicable Provisions and Clauses. Please read the entire solicitation package carefully before preparing your quote. Quotes must include a detailed breakdown of estimated labor and material costs and clearly display the vendor's Unique Entity Identifier (UEI) and Tax Identification Number (TIN). Background The United States Coast Guard (USCG) is seeking a qualified contractor to provide all labor, materials, and equipment necessary to renew select perimeter fencing and gates at USCG BASE Charleston. This acquisition is 100% set aside for small businesses, with the goal of enhancing security through the renewal of fencing at an operational military installation. Work Details The work includes the following tasks: 1. Removal and disposal of 335 linear feet (LF) of damaged chain link fencing. 2. Furnishing and installation of 335 LF of new 7' high commercial grade chain link fence, including: - One 24' double drive (DD) gate and one 20' DD gate in the exact location as the old fencing. - Installation with top rail, bottom tension wire, barbed wire, and bracing at terminals. - Use of specified materials: 3" terminal posts, 2 1/2" line posts, 1 5/8" top rail, 12.5 gauge barbed wire, and 7 gauge bottom tension wire. - Installation of new 7' high bottom locking slats in green color. 3. The contractor must ensure minimal dust and debris during work, isolate the installation area from the rest of the site, and comply with quality assurance standards for materials used.
