Background The National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA), specifically the Office of Marine and Aviation Operations (OMAO) and the Aircraft Operations Center (AOC), is seeking to acquire loaner engines to ensure mission continuity, fleet sustainability, and minimize aircraft downtime or unscheduled maintenance. The AOC operates multiple aircraft, including Beechcraft King Air and De Haviland DHC-6 Twin Otter, which are essential for NOAA survey missions across the United States, including Alaska, Hawaii, and other U.S. territories. Work Details The contract requires the provision of loaner engines as follows: 1) Two PT6A-60A BE350 loaner engines; 2) Two PT6A-27 Twin Otter loaner engines. The engines must be delivered to the Lakeland, FL facility by no later than September 1, 2026. Additionally, vendors must provide a Certificate or authentication confirming they are an authorized distributor for Pratt & Whitney.
