Background The Northern Rockies Major Acquisition Buying Office is planning to issue a Request for Proposals (RFP) for construction services to rehabilitate the Polebridge Water System at Glacier National Park. This project aims to enhance the water supply infrastructure in the park, which is essential for supporting area facilities and ensuring safe drinking water. Work Details The work generally consists of the construction of a new public water system, which includes: - A new infiltration gallery - A new water storage tank - New water mains and service lines that will connect to four housing units and two administrative buildings. Additional tasks include the installation of a new programmable logic controller (PLC), pump control panel, pump protection system, and tank monitoring system. The existing chlorination treatment system will remain unchanged. Furthermore, fiber optic lines will be installed connecting to five buildings. Period of Performance The estimated period of performance for this contract is from October 15, 2026, through June 30, 2027. Place of Performance The construction projects will be performed at Glacier National Park.
